If you haven’t heard of this concept, it’s the act of creating a blog for someone else and then making sure you have a link with your info on the site. The blog may be on the company website, or on a personal website, but it is important to note that a blog site is considered to be a confined audience site, which means your info must be interesting enough for the owner of the blog to keep your link. Also, you have to make sure your info is relevant to their niche or this could turn into a bad link exchange.

Submitting links

Some sites are strict on the type of sites you can submit your link to. These include some authority sites such as the Yahoo directory and Google listing as well as multiple free sites. For the same reason you want to avoid linking to free sites, you want to avoid linking to bad sites also.
